The August meeting will be Saturday, August 14, 2010, at 10:00AM at the Washington Street Education Center, 500 Washington St, Chelsea. Please note the location! This is where we will be meeting until further notice. See the Meeting locations map, link below Guests are always welcome at our monthly meetings. If you don't know how to spin, join our learner's circle at 10:00AM, Bring your own wheel or drop spindle, or learn on one of several wheels owned by the Spinners Flock. If you would like to join our group, dues are $25.00 per year. Please come to one of our meetings to join. Dues are only accepted in person at a meeting.  On a day in October of 1980, Spinners' Flock was born of a small group of handspinning enthusiasts that included sheep owners who had lots of wool to spin, and handspinners who were looking for wool to spin. And there were some just wanting to know how to spin. All were lovers of yarn.
Over the years since that beginning, membership has grown ten-fold and three annual sales events have been developed, but the character and goals of the Spinners' Flock have remained constant. Welcome to our site and learn more about our dynamic group!! |
