The September meeting will be Saturday, September 11, 2010, at 10:00AM at the Washington Street Education Center, 500 Washington St, Chelsea. Please note the location! This is where we will be meeting until further notice. See the Meeting locations map, link below Don't forget to put our FALL FLEECE FAIR on your calendar. This event will be held on Sunday, September 19, 2010 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Beach Middle School in Chelsea. There will be piles of gorgeous, soft multicolored wool roving, racks full of handspun yarn, fleeces, equipment, books and some finished items made mainly from handspun yarn. Spinners Flock members will be demonstrating spinning and some other fiber crafts, also. Guests are always welcome at our monthly meetings. If you don't know how to spin, join our learner's circle at 10:00AM, Bring your own wheel or drop spindle, or learn on one of several wheels owned by the Spinners Flock. If you would like to join our group, dues are $25.00 per year. Please come to one of our meetings to join. Dues are only accepted in person at a meeting. On a day in October of 1980, Spinners' Flock was born of a small group of handspinning enthusiasts that included sheep owners who had lots of wool to spin, and handspinners who were looking for wool to spin. And there were some just wanting to know how to spin. All were lovers of yarn.
